Lorilee Craker is a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she was adopted at two weeks old. She and her husband, Doyle, had the privilege of adopting their Phoebe many years later. She is the author of more than a dozen books and lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband and three children.
