¡El poder de Dios prevalece!
El velo del templo se rasgó, la tierra tembló y se abrieron las tumbas. Nunca antes en la historia de las crucifixiones presenciadas por el centurión romano había visto semejante espectáculo. Temeroso y a la vez conmovido por estos extraordinarios eventos, declaró: “¡Verdaderamente este era el Hijo de Dios!” Es la autoridad y el amor que Jesús mostró en la cruz lo que conmueve los corazones. Incluso los corazones que han sido endurecidos por la decepción, el sufrimiento y la pérdida no están más allá del alcance de... el poder de la cruz.

God’s Power Prevails!
The veil in the temple was torn, the earth shook, and graves were opened. Never before in the history of crucifixions witnessed by the Roman Centurion had he seen such a sight. Fearful and yet moved by these extraordinary events he declared, “Truly this was the Son of God!” It is the authority and love that Jesus displayed on the cross that moves hearts. Even hearts that have been hardened by disappointment, suffering, and loss are not beyond the reach of...the power of the cross.
