Discover the Importance of knowing the Old Testament.
“Unless we read the Old Testament, we will neither recognize the big story of sin and redemption, nor grasp the full significance of the New Testament.”—Daniel Block
While it can be challenging and long to read with its foreign laws and strange stories, the Old Testament comprises nearly two-thirds of the whole Scripture. It covers everything from the history of humanity, Israel, as well as the hope of a future Messiah. In this booklet, Daniel Block dives straight into the question of why Christians should not only read, but also treasure the old Testament for its beautiful, poetic verses and its picture of a gracious and loving God.
