About this item

How can you trust God and obey His Word when the difficulties and troubles of life cause you to wonder where He is in all of it?

Surely the Old Testament character Elijah must have wondered that too as he endured tough times. But Elijah stands as a shining example of trust in and obedience to God. Whether he had to confront an evil king face-to-face, ask a widow for her last morsel of food, or confront hundreds of idol worshipers in a contest of competing philosophies, Elijah demonstrated the importance of a godly response.

In Trusting God in Hard Times, Bill Crowder helps you discover, from the life of Elijah, lessons in faithful godly living. Elijah lived in a day that in many ways mirrors our own; the people had turned away from the one true God to trust in idols that had no value. He battled problems such as famine, tragedy, hunger, and even his own doubts. Find out how you can survive during difficult times as you take a closer look at Elijah-an ordinary man in extraordinary times.
